Calendar Optimization

This experiment is intended to test engagement with user interest into making date focused decisions by day. At the time, the calendar experience was only supporting month and year ranged selections.

The underlying user interface is the legacy format of  This was one of the very first projects I worked on when I started at Norwegian Cruise Lines in 2018. The presentation slides shown below and the pre-recorded prototype videos (below links) were presented before senior leadership and met with an overwhelming positive review.

The experiment was later migrated into what is now our current redesign of the experience and new cruise calendar user interface. The new user interface leverages more modern styles and component practices that evolved from wins and learnings of experiments across our legacy experience.
